An upcoming world-wide broadcast in celebration of what would have been Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday will include Miami Shores Resident Lawrence Branchetti.

Branchetti believes that Sinatra’s voice is for all generations. Sinatra’s showmanship and artistry have remained unmatched since he began performing professionally in the 1930’s to his last recording 21 years ago. Branchetti was bestowed the honor and opportunity to perform alongside Frank Sinatra on the show performing great classics. Branchetti stated “this was truly a dream come true… one that I will always remember and cherish… what an opportunity and a Christmas gift. My best regards go out to the producer of the special broadcast”.

Branchetti is an Italian-American entertainer born of Italian decent in the quaint town of Aliquippa, just outside of Pittsburg. His family came out of the Abruzzo region of Italy, specifically Pescara, and Barrea. Branchetti sings the classic songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Henry Mancini, and Johnny Mercer in the style of Frank Sinatra. He has for many years given his personal time to support fund raising efforts and has proven himself to be a truly humane individual who has what it takes to set an example for Italian-Americans who want to carry on their proud tradition.

One of the major developments in Italian Music Scene is IAML that is the Italian branch of the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation centers (IAML). It is a professional organization dedicated to the welfare of Italian Music with more than 2.000 individual and institutional members of about 50 countries. Also CIRPeM is the Italian branch of RIPM that publishes indexes and keywords of music periodicals. Lawrence Branchetti | A great international Italian/American artist

Branchetti has appeared in radio programs and international television. He is also supported by many of the Italian-American organizations in his carry on the memory of Frank Sinatra music. He has recorded more than 140 songs and is heard on 96 radio stations.

Lawrence Branchetti was born in the picturesque town of Aliquippa, near Pittsburgh, famous for being the birthplace of great athletes and musicians. Aliquippa, in fact, has produced legends like Mike Ditka, Tony Dorsett and Henry Mancini.

As a boy, Branchetti was musically influenced by her parents, artists like Sinatra, Bennett, Billy Eckstine, Nat King Cole, and others. This influence began to shape the musical career of Branchetti. For over 45 years Lawrence has toured across the United States of America, singing the songs of his mentors.

Branchetti, recently, it has been awarded by the Italian Sons and Daughters of Italian Americans, an endorsement to carry on the Frank Sinatra musical memory. He is also supported by the supremem Lodge " Transport Workers Union of America. TWU Local 568 which has endorsed his efforts to pursue his career as an artist.

Branchetti has also devoted his time to supporting fundraising events for community purposes and this has also been a credit to his Italian roots.

Lawrence Branchetti, nicknamed "The Golden Voice", in 2011 was awarded the Miami Award by the US Commerce Association (USCA), for "production and his vocal ability."

These awards and others are the years of the hard work and passion that characterized his artistic ability. Lawrence, has gained the admiration of our staff at Antropos in the World journalism, and of the Italian people.

The 2016 National Convention of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America will be held at the brand new Margaritaville Resort on Saturday August 6 through Wednesday August 10, 2016, with many well planned events throughout the convention and installations, serving morning Breakfasts to Luncheons and Cocktails at 5 p.m. and delicious dinners at 7 p.m.

Larry is the only singer to have had the privilege to perform on radio with Frank Sinatra. He has taken on the responsibility to carry on the memory of Frank Sinatra’s music. He has appeared on local and international TV shows and has been considered as a regular with the Denny Farrell Big Band Show from Chicago. Larry is an American entertainer who also sings the classics songs of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer, and many other composers. When he performs, he transmits rich images of harmony, great warmth and a constant rapport with his audience, a gift capable of a truly great artist. In a more lighthearted vein, one retired TWU member has been out on the road celebrating another milestone. The end of 2015 saw the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s birth and Larry Branchetti of Local 568 has had the world on a string.

Brother Branchetti, a singer since the age of eight, had the honor of participating in a worldwide international radio broadcast in honor of Sinatra’s birth and called it “a dream come true.”

Branchetti is not an impersonator but sings the Great American Songbook in the style of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and others. To date he has recorded over 140 songs and his work is broadcast on radio stations across the country.

ISDA 2016 National Convention
