One of the major developments in
Italian Music Scene is
IAML that is the Italian branch of the International
Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation
centers (IAML). It is a professional organization dedicated
to the welfare of Italian Music with more than 2.000
individual and institutional members of about 50 countries.
Also CIRPeM is the Italian branch of RIPM that publishes
indexes and keywords of music periodicals. Major singers
whose songs are chart busters and frequently downloaded over
the net are Michael Amante, Biagio Antonacci, Romina Arena,
Frankie Avalon, Claudio Baglioni, Cecilia Bartoli, Tony
Bennett, Andrea Bocelli, Lawrence Branchetti, Luca Carboni,
Carman, Enrico Caruso, Micheal Castaldo, Adriano Celentano,
etc.
